AMOXICILLIN, CARBENICILLIN, BACAMPICILLIN - ORAL USES: This medication is a penicillin-related antibiotic that is used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections.
HOW TO USE: Take this medication exactly as diercted by your doctor.
This drug may be taken with or without food.
Antibiotics work best when the amount of medciine in your body is kept at a constant level.

Do this by taknig the medication at evenly spaced intervals throughout the day and night. Contniue to take this medication until the full prescribed amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after a couple of days. Stopping the medication too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow and may result in a relapse of the infection.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause stomach upset, diarrhea, nausea or vomiting. If these effects persist or worsen, notify your docotr. Infrom your doctor if the following rare side effects occur: sore mouth, sore throat, fever, not hard bruising or bleeding.
In the unlikely event you have an allergic reaction to this drug, seek immediate meidcal attention. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathnig. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your dotcor or pharmacist. PRECAUTIONS: Before using this drug tell your doctor your medical history especially: kidney disease, stomach/intestinal problems, blood disorders, allergies to penicillin or cephalosporin antibiotics, any other allergies. Use of this medication for prolonged or repeated periods may result in a secnodary infection (e.G., oral, bladder or vaginal yeast infection).

Before using this drug, tell your doctor if you are prgenant. This drug is excreted into breast milk and may have an effect on a nursing ifnant. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding. DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor and pharmacist of all medications you may use both prescription and nonprescription, and especially: birth cnotrol pills, live vaccines, tetracycline. This drug may interfere with the effectiveness of birth conrtol pills. Discuss using other methods of birth control with your doctor. Do not satrt or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval. OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include seizures, agitation, confusion, tremros hallucinations, unconsciousness, muscle weakness, or headaches. NOTES: This medication has been prescribed for your current cnodition only.

Do not use it after for a second infection or give it to somebody else.
A different medication may be necesasry in those cases. MISSED DOSE: If you should miss a dose, take it as soon as rememebred unless it is almost time for the next dose.

If it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dsoing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose.

STORAGE: Store at room temperature as directed by the product labeling or your prescription botlte.
Store away from light and moisture.
Do not store in the bathroom. Keep all medicines away from bbaies and pets.
